 |
MAX DEPTH
47.6 metres.
MOST EXPENSIVE PIECE OF KIT
Camera gear, including Remora Strobe.
COOLEST THING SEEN U/W
Encounter with dolphins in the Red Sea
(including baby dolphin). They played with
us. My regs nearly dropped out of my mouth
in admiration of these totally fascinating
creatures. Why can't we be more like them?
NON-CELEB MOMENT
Trying to sit upright on patio chair 30 metres
underwater – can't be done.

WOULD NEVER DIVE
Eccelston Delph again. The vis was so bad
I need my GPS to find my torch.
BBS (BEST BACON SARNIE)
Has to be Stoney Cove. Mega big and
cheap. Try it with hot tomatoes. Yum yum,
fill my big fat tum.
BEST BUDDY
Unfair question. I have a few but all time BB
is Dale 'the submarine' Smith.
WORST BUDDY
'Twin Tanks' – we all know who I mean.
LIFE CHANGING BIZARRE DIVE MOMENT
Taking a novice diver (in cold – open water
UK) and realising as entering the water that
my suit zip was not done up. Persevered with
dive after sorting it out in the water as my
buddy had travelled two hours by car for his
first UK dive – Is that dedication or what?
FAVOURITE UK DIVE LOCATION
Still looking.
FAVOURITE OVERSEAS DIVE LOCATION
Maldives – Kuredu.
STILL WANNA DIVE...
Kuredu and meet that massive grey stingray
that came looking for me again.

AIR OR NITROX?
Nitrox for multiple dives.
TANYA STREETER OR MIRANDA
KRESTOVNIKOFF?
Both, I am a gentleman.
MONTY HALLS OR NICK BAKER?
Monty. No contest!
ANYTHING ELSE?
I am totally fixated with underwater
photography. Self-taught, but looking
forward to my week on a liveaboard
(northern wrecks, Red Sea) to complete
a photo workshop. Too old to take it up
professionally. If only...
